French commercial courts will adopt blockchain-based platform

The Hyperledger solution will allow employees to share regulatory information that is related to the companies' difficulties

The commercial courts of France will adopt a solution created by IBM and the National Council of Clerks (NCC) to share legal information from companies through blockchain technology.

This solution is called Hyperledger and will make easier the work of the commercial courts that are in charge of keeping the Registry of Commerce and Companies of the country.

Thanks to this, the employees will be able to register and share regulatory information related to the difficulties of the companies.

The president of the National Council of French Employees, Sophie Jonval, stressed that the project is the result of the initiative of several secretaries of commercial courts together with IBM.

The purpose is “to strengthen the quality of the public service provided by the commercial justice system, dedicated to the expectations and requirements of the multipolar and interconnected economic world of today”, explained Jonval.

On the other hand, he stressed that blockchain technology represents a great “potential for our profession and for the modernization of commercial justice tools, which reflects our state, our mission and our professional rules”.
