FIFA20 reaches 10 million players in two weeks

The Electronic Arts (EA) team said that this is the first time that so many players have joined in such a short time

The FIFA 20 video game, from Electronic Arts (EA), adds more followers than ever, reaching 10 million players already competing in football stadiums or on the streets of Volta, in the first two weeks, EA reports in a statement.

To celebrate it, EA Sports will offer players who access the video game before October 17 a reward of 8,000 Volta coins to personalize their players and express their own style.

In addition, players can also participate in the new Volta Football Team Creation Challenge to earn rewards within the video game itself.

FIFA 20 players exceeded 450 million games played, with more than 1.2 billion goals scored in all modes of the game.

FIFA Ultimate Team has gained more competitors than ever in the first three weeks since its launch, with more than 272 million FUT matches. In addition, more than 138 million games have been played in Division Rivals accumulating victories of the FUT Champions Weekend League to reach the ranking of the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series, on the way to the FIFA eWorld Cup.

Volta Football became the second most popular game mode of FIFA 20, with more than 5 million players created who already demonstrate their style on urban city courts around the world, the most played being those in Rome, Lagos, London and Cape Town.
