DHL Express launches “Solución Café” for Colombian exporters
The launch of the new service was carried out in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce of Argentina and Quindío to benefit Colombian coffee exporters
“Solución Café” contributes to the success of its customers by providing international shipping services for samples, as well as small quantities and formal exports of seed as announced by Allan Cornejo, general manager of DHL Express Colombia.
The executive from the Colombian company said: “In our objective of providing specialized services for the different economic sectors that contribute to the success of our clients, we deliver “Solución Café” to Colombian exporters who need to send samples, or formally commercialize the grains produced for international markets.”
With a growth of 10 percent, equivalent to 8.9 million bags of 60 kilos, this project reaches important figures in its exports and with this new portfolio of DHL Express international express delivery services Colombian coffee farmers will have the opportunity to exhibit their product in the coffee market, sending small quantities or formally exporting the grain to markets such as the “Solución Café”, Belgium, Italy, England, Spain, Finland and Norway.
For its part, DHL Express will offer services for the coffee sector in the coffee axis, with the direct presence of Pereira, Manizales and Armenia, where it has a service center, three own points of sale, six vehicles and ten international specialists.
With regard to customer service, the integrated company has the Center of Excellence Certification (COE) and in security it has the TAPA (Association for the Protection of Assets in Transportation) and BASC (Business Alliance for Commerce Insurance).
