China could agree with the US duty payment in parts

This was announced by the Asian government, who claims to have reached an agreement with the government of Donald Trump

Current scenario indicates that the Chinese government would have finally reached an agreement with the United States for the payment of tariffs in parts.

Gao Feng, spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce of the Asian nation said during a press conference to take the next step to abolish tariffs, in order to fully cover the so-called “first phase”.

“The two sides have agreed to eliminate tariffs as theyreach any progress. If China and the United States reach an agreement in the ‘first phase’, the two sides should eliminate tariffs simultaneously and in the same proportion,” Feng said.

This payment of tariffs is part of the conditions imposed by the Donald Trump government, during the so-called “trade war” between the two nations.

The ministry spokesman trust deeply that the negotiating teams can resolve this conflict “based on equality and mutual respect.”

On October 26, the Chinese Government confirmed the progress of the negotiations for a partial trade agreement and assured that technical consultations on part of the text had already been completed.

For his part, Trump described the pact as a “first phase” in a process that can be developed in up to three stages, and parked his plans to raise tariffs on imports from the Asian giant.
