Brazil and Argentina consider the creation of a common currency

In a visit of the Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, to Argentine soil the proposal arose that in the future also intends to include Uruguay and Paraguay

During an official visit of the president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, to Argentine territory he launched the proposal of a common currency for both countries.

In the conversation that Bolsonaro maintained with Mauricio Macri (Argentina), it was also proposed that Paraguay and Uruguay could enter this project.

The creation of a currency as a whole would facilitate trade between both nations, since they would share the same exchange method.

One of the most important challenges will be to develop a mechanism that prevents the accumulation of money somewhere in the monetary zones that are participating in this system, in order to prevent the most industrialized areas from enriching themselves at the expense of other regions losing liquidity.

At the moment this project has not been formalized. Both Argentina and Brazil continue with the conversation to take the proposal formally to the public.
