Binance focused on Argentine market for a fiat-crypto exchange

Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the platform, announced through his Twitter account the possible association between Binance Labs and the government of Argentina

Argentina could be the next market for Binance platform to start activities through the creation of a fiat-cryptocurrency exchange. This was recently announced by Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the company, through his Twitter account.

The creation of this exchange will depend on a possible agreement between Binance Labs and the Argentine government. The South American country is one of those that shows major advances in the adoption of blockchain technology, incorporation of cryptocurrencies in the financial system, as well as the development of fintech ventures.

Zhao stressed that the Executive of Argentina “is committed to having a fund of USD $ 50,000 for entrepreneurship projects chosen by the company of Asian origin.”

Through the creation of the fiat-cryptocurrency exchange, Binance seeks to increase and strengthen the use of digital currency in the Argentine territory. Bitcoin is one of the assets most used by citizens after the fall in the value of the Argentine peso. The population understands that it is an alternative to inflation and devaluation of the local currency.

Binance will make the most of the country’s development in this area, providing advice and guidance, as well as incorporating businessmen and entrepreneurs in the process.
