Argentina and Paraguay will use bitcoin for exports

Both countries achieved an unprecedented export agreement through customs that requires the use of cryptocurrencies

The news arises because a customer from Paraguay bought fumigation products and pesticides from his supplier in Argentina for a value of 7,100 dollars using bitcoin and the amount was then converted to Argentine pesos to settle the accounts.

The operation was carried out using the services of Bitex, a well-known financial services provider that processes bitcoin payments.

It must be remembered that Bitex belongs to the Export Simple project of the government of Argentina, whose main purpose is to facilitate the export of goods and services which transaction amount does not exceed $ 15,000.

The financial entity charges just 1 percent of the commission for each cross-border transfer. For its part, Bitex aims to ensure that cross-border payments are carried out simply and efficiently.

The payment alternatives using digital currencies in Argentina have grown considerably during the last months.
